Every Piece of Art Still Amazes Me!
Hiway 96 is a project created by a single suggestion. Someone suggested that Cheryl Bush do a watercolor painting of an old 1946 truck, parked under a shed, out on Hiway 96. Her husband Stan Bush, knew exactly where the truck was. He drove by it quite frequently when he worked in Fort Valley, Georgia. So he and Cheryl went to the location and took a picture of the truck. The next day, this post was done of the picture. And the response was quite high. So Cheryl decided to paint it. She was inspired by it. She decided she would paint more.

My biggest artistic influences were my great uncle and my cousin Christine. My great uncle worked on a Clay medallion sculpture portrait of me. My cousin Christine showed me how to shade. The sun coming through the window on a candlestick. She said to look at the candlestick us if it was a photograph negative. That made sense to me.
I never really did decide that I wanted to be an artist I just was.
The advice I would give to other artists. Inspire each other. Find artists that fit and can carry each other along with positive feed back. That is what will keep you creating, painting and drawing.
